Bagan Holiday for Myanmar Culture

There is great history to explore.

This city is a ideal place for culture oriented holidays. The place once was the capital of the first Myanmar Empire, 1044 to 1286 A.D. Now a 40 square kilometer area dotted with thousands of ancient pagodas, stupas, shrines, ordination halls and monuments.
With this cultural heritage plus the incredible background of about 130 ethnic groups it is unlikely that your dream vacation won't become true. The famous ancient temple city on the banks of the Ayeyarwady or Irrawaddy river is the top tourist destination in the country, traveling without visiting is like a trip to Egypt without the pyramids.

Have a boat cruise on the famous Ayeyarwady - Irrawaddy River -video is here-, or see the ox carts moving around the pagodas and temples.

In general, holiday in Myanmar are different to any other vacation destination in this world. This is also a very safe country, whatever the media tells you, don't listen, I am living partly in here for 20 years, I never had ONE problem by any means, be it crime be it government or whatever.

I was in almost any part of the country, its safe, people are friendly but the infrastructure such as roads and public services are in a real mess that's a fact nobody can deny.
