The Ananda Temple at Bagan
This is probably the most impressive shrine in the city and the has a reason. It is a real impressive monument with a footprint like a Greek cross. Plus some great Buddha Statues and the environment around, you wont find easily any other sacred monuments of this planet matching this monumental construction. Ok, the Vatican looks somehow better but hat has to do do with the better technology they have access to, in terms of genuine and real devotion this one is definitely better since it is really back to basic. |
