One of the best art created from the mineral is a Jade Buddha,
there is plenty of information about it and we extend it visually. Most big or small items are made from Myanmar jadeite, some are made at Mandalay but most rough material is exported China where the biggest market and production is.It's somehow similar to rubies, most of them are mined in Mogok and finally they end up in Thailand where they are made into jewelry. The items can be considered as art since most are looking quite good, just as they should.
This days the most popular is a laughing Jade Buddha.
