Climate and temperature

Myanmar or Burma is one of the view Asian countries which has the whole temperature and climate range.


From the snow capped mountain of the north, reaching up to 6000 meters to the Shan plateau in the east of the country with hill an lakes. The tropical center and west extends another 1000 km to the south and ends at Kawthaung, the former Victoria Point of the British colonialists opposite Ranong Thailand. 

Temperature and Climate: The country has three seasons, the cold season is from October into February with an average temperature from around 20- 24 C. Hot season is from March to May with around 30- 35 C. Monsoon season is from June to September with around 25- 30 C. Yangon receive some rain throughout the year while rain in the area between Bagan and  Mandalay is very low, this is the dry area is called. Shan state with Inle Lake, plus the north and south is pleasant year round. In the south it's wet throughout the year and the far north has an Alpine climate with plenty of snow throughout the year.
